I’ve completed the first review on my transcription of Scappi’s menus. It has actually taken longer to do this review than it did to transcribe them in the first place. I was so excited to hit page 139 around 11:30 last night.

Now, of course, it’s time to move to checking all the ‘go check other manuscript’ footnotes for when the primary scan I was using was unclear, and to finalize decisions around how to present the various abbreviations. So it’s not like this is done-done. But it’s a nice milestone to have made it to, as i wasn’t thinking I’d get here until the end of the month.
